Museum branding seminars

SUMO was approached in March 2005 to tender for the branding of the new Shetland Museum and Archives. The museum was undergoing a massive transformation; merging with the islands' archives, moving location to a new £10m iconic building, and re-evaluating the way it functioned as a heritage hub for Shetland.

We applied our SUMO Museum Branding process of research, evaluation, design development and analysis to create a new brand identity with a 52 page set of museum identity guidelines and supporting digital files which make sure that the logo and identity are always applied consistently and correctly.

John MacKenzie, the Project Manager at Shetland Museum and Archives said “From the first stage presentation to the finished project, SUMO has delivered top quality work to schedule, within budget and, most importantly, which hit the spot exactly. We are simply delighted.”
